In preparation for  upcoming shows, I've reignited my love for textiles, working specifically on a range of silks and linens. With a continued passion for natural pigments, I'm inspired by traditional dyeing methods [Japanese shibori and katazome] and have integrated many of these techniques as I do with works on canvas.

 

"Vestige" is the name of the current series that explores the realm of ancient fabrics; rich swaths of brocades, tapestry and prints reminiscent of  imperial robes.
