A little bit about me...
I'm a trained visual artist and skeletal biologist with a long history of drawing and analyzing the human body - both living and dead. For well over twenty years, I've worked with law enforcement to investigate and identify human remains in a forensic context while honing my skills as an artist.
Alongside my art projects that focus primarily on a curious ensemble of Medieval inspired anatomy, inked skin, and textiles, I continue to curate gallery exhibitions and lecture extensively to various audiences. My speaking engagements include talks on: human remains in art, Medieval life, bodies of forensic science, death investigations and the traffic of human remains. Throughout the academic year, I teach at McMaster University as adjunct faculty.
